Animal Shelter Receives Club Donations
The Club's Animal Refuge Kansai (ARK) holiday donation drive provided a much-needed boost for the Hyogo Prefecture-based animal shelter.
Members donated toys, blankets, snacks and other useful items to last year's drive, with Hill’s Japan donating 1 kilogram of its pet food for each decoration Members crafted to hang on the Library's Christmas tree. In all, Hill's donated 75 kilograms of food.
According to Club Member Samuel Gallagher, a director with Hill’s-Colgate in Tokyo, nutritious food ensures the animals feel and look healthy while increasing their chances of adoption.
“We are proud to support the Club’s ARK donation drive and are impressed by the generosity and engagement of Members,” he says.
